This car/truck was bought, in pretty good shape, as a project car 3 years but due to my age and health I'm forced to sell.  Over $33,000.00 has been invested.  This is almost 40 years old thus is not perfect, but it did win "Best of Show" a few weeks ago for models 1980 to 2005.   

ElCaminos were bad to rust so I had it gone over by a professional restorer.  The fiberglass front end was bought from Honest Charlies Speed Shop in Chattanooga and professionally body worked and installed.  There was a dent in the driver front fender in the body line thus we replaced.  Rust was found at the bottom of both doors thus instead of covering up we replaced with new doors.  Rust was also found around the chrome edging on the bed so all chrome and molding was removed, inspected, and any rust found was properly repaired.  The ElCamino came with the bed tie downs which I had removed and holes sealed correctly.  A new bumper was installed since I wanted a cleaner look.  

Interior:

Mostly original. I have replaced some of the plastic molding, new headliner and visors, new storage drape, etc.  The rest was cleaned up and left original.  There was an aftermarket radio installed but the original came with when I bought.  I shipped it off to TX and was professionally rebuilt, it now works great. all switches, gauges, etc. work properly. 

Runs strong and starts like it should. Original 305 V8. It has a new intake with an Edlebrock 4 Barrel.  The emissions control was removed and all ports sealed.  The cooling system was gone through and everything replaced from the heater core, hoses, thermostat, water pump to correct heating issues.  The radiator was removed and professionally rodded and repaired, I wanted to keep it original. 

Shifts like it should. Original 4 speed automatic.   

Wheels and tires:

Honkook Kinergy ST 235/60R15 mounted on new American Racing wheels. An upgrade from the 14" original wheels.

Front disk with rear drum.  Everything is new from the brake lines out
